Salisbury has become the first city in the UK to have universal access to ultra-fast fibre broadband.
Openreach, the division of BT that looks after cables and wires, has invested £10 million providing network across the entire historic cathedral city in just under a year so that Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) technology is available to 20,000 households and businesses.
We are delighted that our office building, Warner House, has been one of the beneficiaries and a fibre backbone has been installed meaning all our tenants will benefit. Despite the extended lockdown period we have signed new tenants, agreed lettings on two further suites and have interest in another three following recent viewings. It’s great to see these positive steps being taken by businesses in difficult times. The feedback we get on the refurbishment continues to be very positive and features such as the free Hubspace, café and courtyard amenity are now supported by great connectivity. And Salisbury is only 90 mins from London Waterloo!
